This new 300ha airport featuring a 2.87km runway capable of landing a Boeing 747 aircraft has been designed and constructed on a greenfield site at Wellcamp, Toowoomba, in South Eastern Queensland.

The new 13,500m² terminal will be the focal point of a new business park and transport hub serving South East Queensland and Greater Western Brisbane, the Terminal has been planned for expansion as the region flourishes.

The terminal provides:

• 20 Check-in counters
• 3 Baggage collection belts
• 6 Ground boarding gates
• 1,400m² Retail space
• Cafe with air-side outdoor seating space
